For centuries it has been known that oxygen placed into water under pressure will be dissolved into the water at a higher rate than when just bubbled through the column. It is also a fact that the smaller the gas bubble the faster it will dissolve. Although bubbling dispersal tubes will place oxygen into water the actual dissolving rate with this method is only about 10%.

With an 02 injector from Global Aquatics operating between 10 and 15 psi, with a water flow of 15 to 20 gallons per minute, the water will leave at super-saturation levels of up to 21 ppm using just 3 liters of 02 per minute. When using ambient air a discharge level of 15ppm can be expected at 5 liters of air per minute.

The injector is designed to either rest on the back of the tank or can be mounted with special brackets on a wall and can be used in either a left or right configuration. The discharge nozzle can be aimed in any direction within the tank. All fittings are 1 1/2" PVC .
