MODEL “VF” SERIES BIOFILTERS

The bio-filter shown below measures 72” long x 24” wide and 30” high. It is equipped with 3” PVC inlet and outlet and contains two 3” PVC bottom drains. There are three vertical flow reverser plates ,three airstones and media bottom screens. Total working volume of vessel is 40 cubic feet. Unit comes loaded with PVC strand media containing approximately 10,000 square feet of surface area.

HORIZONTAL BIOFILTERS

Horizontal biofilters with a nice low profile that will sit right beside a culture tank. Constructed of “STEEL CORE” tm polyurethane materials to give a life time of rugged dependability. Special baffles and plates direct the water flow in both horizontal and up and down vertical directions to allow for maximum contact time for the denitrofication bacteria to do their job. Packed with Global Aquatics’ PVC strand core media, the filter contains 250 sq.ft of surface space per cubic foot. Units comes with all fittings and air stones installed for easy connection with standard PVC fittings. Sizes vary. Tell us what you need and we will quote price.
