GLOBAL AQUATICS?

Global Aquatics,Ltd. was orginally started in 1976 under the name Maryland Pride Farms.Today the name Maryland Pride Farms is the brand name for the aquacultured food fish products sold by the parent company Global Aquatics, Ltd. Since 1976 the founders of Global Aquatics have been leaders in intensive indoor fish farming research and development. Unlike all too many designers and consultants who use their clients as the R&D site at the clients expense, all research and design at Global Aquatics is always performed as applied research utilizing the S-92 Sequential systems at our company headquarters located in Aberdeen, Maryland USA. The term applied meaning that all the components are tested under actual operating conditions , therefore, when we recommend or sell a product or component we not only know that it works, our technicians know how it works and can help the farmer with any technical problems should they arise. We are not just hardware and equipment engineers at Global Aquatics . We are also business developers and consultants in the aquaculture industry. Over the years our research teams and business managers have worked with the staff of The Department of Food and Resource Economics at The University of Delaware to design and evaluate many different operational procedures for the business of running an aquaculture farm. From this experience our staff has either co-authored or advised on more than thirty major research papers published by the University of Delaware. As a result, the staff at Global Aquatics is able to offer professional experience in all areas of aquaculture production.
